When joined Gire Team as a full stack developer, participated in the Gire platform upgrade to modern stack based on React with Material UI on client side and NestJS with MongoDB on server side.Implemented from scratch several important features in back office and customer facing applications. Was responsible for the technical side of the company data analysis, created and maintained dashboards based on Atlas Charts, which are currently used near all non-technical folks including CEO. Created from scratch a set of end to end tests using Cypress.

After starting at esurance.ch leaded the creation of new front-end architecture based on TypeScript, React.js, MobX, Inversify that helped the company successfully deliver the most crucial project of the next year.Designed domain specific language (DSL) to represent application configuration which allowed us to reduce configuration size tenfold and made it possible for non-technical team members to read and modify the configuration reducing the amount of time required to create new products.Refactored two of the most important and complex packages achieving above 90% test coverage.On a daily basis the Swiss team designed and developed new features, refactored existing code, improved development process, conducted code reviews, mentored junior/middle front-end engineers, and interviewed candidates.

Worked on Sharpay multi-sharing application located at app.sharpay.io. Designed and implemented several important subsystems such as REST API with OAuth 2.0 authorization, internal “accounting” which supports multiple tokens in user’s wallets, integrations with several social networks.Developed new features at all application layers from frontend to database. Automated routine tasks such as build of client side assets, deployment to AWS Elastic Beanstalk and database migrations. Conducted application codebase review, proposed refactoring plan and implemented several essential improvements and optimizations according to it.

As a member of a small R&D team participated in experiments with different new technologies which the Company potentially could use. In particular, we developed an application from scratch using Haskell and Yesod Web Framework to support legal clearance of OSS contributions made by Qualcomm employees. Created a couple of prototypes using React.js, which started to gain popularity that time, with Node.js/MongoDB at the backend.

Conducted research on mobile web libraries/frameworks available on the market to select the best technologies to build and maintain a wide range of company's mobile web applications in the most cost effective way. Designed and implemented reusable components and tools to streamline the development process. Participated in IA/UX design including development of several working prototypes for UX testing using Sencha Touch framework.

Supported 50k LOC and 4 years old JavaScript codebase. Designed and developed several new modules. Organized documentation driven development process using Confluence Wiki enhanced with Balsamiq Mockups and Gliffy plugins. Established a modernized version of the tea ceremony in our office to make me and my colleagues a bit more productive.

Designed and developed UI Framework aimed to create complex cross browser AJAX applications using high level configuration language (DSL). The main features: metadata based user interface description, flexible declarative data binding and validation, change tracking with undo/redo functionality, fast way to create new controls implementing simple interface, simplified communication with backend, event based interaction between components, localization support.The framework became an important part of the new Compliguard Flow platform and was used to create solutions for several Company's clients. It proved to be efficient in building highly responsible and modern looking user interfaces with minimum time and efforts spent.In a strict time frame developed a working prototype of Form Designer application, which provided an easy way to revise and modify the application's interface using WYSIWYG approach with drag-and-drop support. Firstly, it had been used to demonstrate Company's platform to potential clients, but later proved to be the easiest way to create new configurations and became a part of the platform administrative suite.Participated in several other projects, was responsible for performance optimization, fixing the most complex issues for different browsers, mentored and consulted other developers.

As a member of a big international team participated in development of a large scale application for the US banking industry. The main responsibilities included: clarification of requirements, providing estimates, developments of new features, refactoring of existing code base and bug fix.Was promoted to the performance tuning team, where proposed and implemented several essential optimizations for the most important clients. Took part in application refactoring during migration to the new version of SQL Server and .Net framework.

Was responsible for the salary calculation component of the accounting suit. Developed its next version that included substantially improved user interface, DSL to make configuration flexible and maintainable, new report subsystem with built-in end user configurator. These enhancements proved to be useful in more than 20 deployments in different organisations.

Proposed, developed and successfully deployed the tickets booking automation application. As a result, the Company got much faster reservation processing, about a tenfold decrease in the amount of mistakes and easy to use statistical data. In the long term that leads to noticeable increase in customer's satisfaction.
