Magical Winter Lights (MWL) is a holiday attraction and festival with a fresh take on the traditional Christmas lighting event. MWL became the champion of the heavyweights division of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” on the ABC network in 2019.The festival provides attendees with a one-of-a-kind multicultural experience through larger-than-life, artisan-made lantern attractions, acrobatic performances, amusement rides and games, live entertainment, and an interactive dinosaur exhibit. The 50-day festival, from Thanksgiving to New Year’s in the following year, is the largest lantern festival of its kind to take place in the U.S. which spans over 20 acres of event space.I lead the team behind Magical Winter Lights overseeing event production, site operations, ticketing, marketing and advertising, finance and accounting, vendor relations, event staffing, and corporate/community partnerships. People Generation was my first company, and I provided public relations and social media marketing services for retail, restaurant, and non-profit businesses. Then, I stumbled upon the opportunity to start a holiday light show business in partnership with my family in China. I have continued People Generation as a consulting arm of my business.

An essential team member responsible for the rebranding of Gexa Energy and the launch of its new website. Responsible for Gexa Energy's in-house integrated marketing campaign, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, direct mail, and customer retention. I spearheaded the email marketing campaign to increase the Facebook fan base for Gexa Energy, which resulted in a 700% increase in Facebook fan page likes.

As a communications consultant for BP America's Gulf Coast Restoration Organization, I trained alongside the corporate legal team during the Deep Horizon Oil Spill. I corresponded on behalf of leadership with local politicians and the general public.

As account executive of a boutique PR firm in Houston, I handled our main client, Blue Bell Creameries' public relations campaign, including scheduling media tours with the local media, securing media coverage, and researching new market opportunities.

I was hired as a paid intern at FleishmanHillard's Houston office and assisted in projects, including AT&T's diversity marketing initiatives. I coordinated events, corresponded directly with the local media and secured media coverage, and assisted in developing AT&T's diversity websites.
