Hi, this is Yusra Shahid. I am a Data Scientist by profession and a Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst. I am providing data and business analytics services. I have almost 5 years of industry experience, working with AI and data related projects. I have keen interest in AI for community and for healthcare. I was given an opportunity to explore Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences in my undergrad years, subsequent to which I decided to pursue the same domain in my professional career. Started off with AI in agriculture, the project was in collaboration with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and I was fortunate enough to fly to Germany twice for Summer internships/training for the same project. AI for community benefit has been the goal since day one which also led to pitching an idea during a coding hackathon in Qatar, we then built a team of 5 people to work on it in the 48 hours of the Hackathon and won the first prize along with an opportunity to build a startup in Qatar, which we have started by the name of MADAD.My recent work was to decrease diagnostic time in thalassemia patients using Cardiac MRIs. It was published in Blood 2022, Sydney, Australia
