Mr. Wakebe graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2000, while passing the bar exam prior to graduation. He entered Dentsu Inc. in 2000 and supported clients in entertainment content business (e.g., Movies, Music, and Celebrity Personalities). Later he joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, one of the largest law firm in Japan, from 2003 to 2011 after admitted to bar in 2003, and he focused his practice on Intellectual Property Rights (“IPR”). In parallel, he was loaned to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the government of Japan, and conducted many projects related to IPR as the first anti-counterfeit expert from 2006 to 2009. Eventually he established IP FORWARD Group in 2011 so as to serve not only Japanese clients but also global enterprises especially by utilizing his own experiences and networks.
