-Program Management of the school counselling process across all partner school within Mumbai.-Appointed as Primary School Counsellor with a partner school, Jasudben M L School-Monitoring School counselling operations- Coordination - Monthly meetings with Principal, coordinators- Induction of new counselors for schools- Coordinating Teacher Orientation / Training Programs and Parent Awareness Programs- Scheduling onsite assessment and monitoring timely reporting of completed assessments- Monthly data collection and report generation (statistical report). Sharing reports with schoolprincipals.- Monthly check of school counseling Documents (log file, parent interacitons, counselling session records etc.)- Monitoring counselling sessions and life skill guidance classes at school & Observation of individual psychologist for quality control.- Monitoring initiatives at school and Assist junior colleague/s in completion of tasks-Coordinate timely completion of test/counseling and reports for self and colleague/s- Transfer indications from test/counseling reports to Special educators/special tutors- Schedule & coordinate parent meetings for counseling clients at the centre- Constant development work with regard to systems in school counseling-Conduct capacity building sessions- Review and Continuous Improvement of the Content & Delivery

-The job role includes helping students from Pre-Primary (Kingdergarten), Classes I-IV (Primary), Classes V-X (Secondary) Classes XI and XII (Higher Secondary) with their Social, Emotional and Learning difficulties. -The therapeutic interventions are conducted in the form of Individual therapy or group therapy. Class Sessions for facilitating SEL ocncepts are also conducted at different age group levels. -Teacher training sessions inculding topics like team building, time and stress management are fecilitated by the counsellor.-Helping students with Academic difficulties, especially with their psychoeducational assessments and making sure they recieve all the concessions they deserve during Board exams.-Counselling parents at frequent intervals about their own parenting styles, unhealthy patterns impacting their children, psychoeducation regarding Learning Disabilities and other mental health issues.-The counsellor uses a variety of approaches like Art therapy, Play therapy, REBT to help students, parents and teachers.
