Streamlining business operations and coordination between different business functions and departments. This was done in preparation for the company shutting down/reducing its US operations and transitioning towards a lean business/management structure. As the company did intend to preserve its overseas operations, this position included reviewing the company processes in multiple areas, implementing new process controls, integration of new project management, communications, and logistical systems (as needed), as well as creating a sense of ownership within the different remaining teams, aiming to drive performance and overall business success in the future.***As the business was in the process of transitioning into a lean business/management structure, this was a short-term contracted position with an extension option depended on a successful M&A. Although there was an initial contract extension offer on the table, the M&A venture was unsuccessful at time the contract ended. Thus, the duration and the position future were unclear, and as such lead to my decision to move on.
