About Yuval Shapira

Founded and led 5+ social impact initiatives. Led a viral campaign to reduce self-harm among teenagers, reaching 7000+ teenagers. Founded a Mental Health education program in collaboration with the Psychological and Counseling Services Division of the Ministry of Education, reaching over 600 teenagers. At that time, also led an organization to reduce poverty, helping feed more than 300 families during the holiday seasons.Through Covid-19 founded a project whose aim was to address the loneliness of the elderly, by giving 50+ "grandparents" a platform to spread their knowledge to over 400 teens. After Hamas's brutal attack on Oct 7 started to manage Survived to Tell - an international outreach project founded in Harvard aimed to raise awareness among decision-makers of the challenge of Hamas. The campaign reached more than 25M worldwide views.In all the projects, mainly led the operative side of recruiting and managing volunteers, applying for donations and grants, building a sustainable model, the initial cause research, marketing and more. Additionally, was the first community manager of Effective Altruism Israel, was a consultant for the innovation team at the Ministry of Finance, was a pilot simulator instructor in the IAF, and was a corporate culture consultant for Unit 669, the Education corps, and more.Creative, energetic, and highly passionate about innovating and making a change.
