Donned multiple hats before starting my MBA journey in 2024 with IIM Tiruchirappalli. My engineering education at NIT Tiruchirappalli saw me focus on (quite literally) the finer things of metals, materials and much more that make our modern world. Post this, I decided to dedicate two formative years at Teach For India as a Fellow between the years 2019 and 2021. It was more like two Fellowships rolled into one: the first year being on-ground and the second year, due to the pandemic, was an online endeavour, where I had to learn how to teach Science and Math all over again to 80 incredibly talented students in a government school in Chennai, only this time it was online. More recently, I was assessing and interviewing candidates for the 2024 cohort of Fellows, which deepened my understanding of the movement towards ending education inequity.
