(1) Created and maintained an object detection pipeline using computer vision, including object identification, localization, classification, tracking, and sensor fusion functions for an autonomous self-parking system by applying YOLO (You-Only-Look-Once) algorithm and Kalman filter. The system was developed using MATLAB Simulink and implemented into an NVIDIA Drive platform to detect objects around the ego vehicle and help determine the optimal route to an empty parking space.(2) Formulated a Driving Score Algorithm using a supervised machine learning model in MATLAB environments to evaluate the driver’s behavior and provide feedback to improve energy efficiency and extend the driving range.(3) Researched and developed a Battery Health Estimator using an artificial neuron network in Python to predict the remaining useful life to evaluate the relationship between battery usage and battery life(4) Collaborated with the software engineering production team to develop the vehicle control unit, from ideation and requirements definition to deployment using MATLAB Simulink
