• 3M Lanka (Private) Limited - 3M Lanka is a fully owned subsidiary of 3M Corporation USA. Was responsible for sales and providing technical and marketing expertise for 3M products in Sri Lanka.• Responsible for all aspects of the Renewable Energy Division. Role entailed aspects such as conducting product feasibility studies, sales forecasting and meeting with partners to provide assistance in meeting key stakeholders of projects and products. Was able to grow the Renewable Energy division from USD 480K (2014) to USD 570K (2016). • Instrumental in conducting training programmes to demonstrate application techniques for 3M Window Films to key partners. Launched a comprehensive warranty programme for both Automotive and Residential Window Films to cover most aspects of defects up to fifteen years after installation. • Able to close many large-scale projects including the World Trade Centre Colombo, Technology Faculty for 500 new schools island wide as well as a mega Shopping Complex in Colombo. Presence of 3M Centres in the island grew from 4 centres in 2014 to 13 centres in 2016. • A Committee member of the 3M Sports Club in 2015 responsible for organising an Inter-Company Indoor Cricket Tournament, Company Paintball Day, Annual Staff Trip and the Year End Christmas Celebrations.

• Summer Internship Programme 2013 (June 2013 - September 2013)• Participated in an Internship Programme consisting of Deutsche Bank, 3M Lanka, Dialog Axiata and MAS Holdings.• Gained insight into the working structure of major corporates and improved problem-solving skills by handling a project based on investigating challenges faced by Over-The-Top services eroding the revenue of telecom services.• Built on team working skills by organising a fashion show titled ‘Step by Step’ to raise funds towards the construction of a Paediatric Cancer Ward at the General Hospital in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

• CMA CGM (Pvt) Ltd - Local arm of CMA CGM Group, a leading worldwide shipping group with local operations in container handling and freight forwarding.• Involved in container handling and learned about the various tasks of a shipping agent. • Gained valuable insight into the industry of cargo shipping and was given the opportunity of going on board a cargo vessel and observing the procedures involved in cargo handling.

• Lanka Orix Motors - Automotive Engineering and Servicing arm of an Associate Company of the ORIX Group, Japan.• Able to gain an insight to the groundwork involved in various types of motor vehicles and their construction. • Involved in the servicing department of vehicles in use and gained an overview of the tasks done to ensure safe running conditions of motor vehicles.
