• Large-scale synthesis of high quality and uniform two dimensional nanomaterials (2DNs) such as graphene, MoS2, and WS2 film via LPCVD, APCVD and MoCVD. • Optimized wafer scale synthesis and quality of direct growth 2D materials or their heterostructure on Si-based dielectric substrate. • Extensively characterized 2DNs via Raman/ Photoluminescence spectroscopy, FESEM, XRD, AFM, XPS• Fabricated micro/nano 2DN thin film transistors, electronic sensors, and photovoltaic devices via UV lithography, physical deposition (electron beam evaporation, thermal evaporation, sputter deposition, and spin-on deposition), wet and plasma etch (RIE and CCP) for metal and dielectric substrate.• Performed parameter testing of back-gated/top-gated FETs, electronic chemical sensor, and photovoltaic devices in cryostat chamber.
