I am now looking forward to starting my career as a public accountant or corporate finance manager. Since I was in elementary school, I was fortunate to have a chance to visit a local bank. Today, I can still clearly record how each coin was cleaned and engraved. That amazing experience actually inspired me to have tremendous interest towards quantitative analysis and financing. In this summer, I had a two month internship in Bank of China. During that period, I researched some previous customers and developed a mathematical analysis on excel-based to determine their debt-to-equity structure. Therefore, people from marketing department can forecast what products and services they would prefer to buy. At the end of my internship, my mathematical model has performed analyses on more than 100 clients, and more than 75% results are fairly accurate. Moreover, I am enthusiastic about challenging tasks. Take snowboarding as an example, the first time that I went to skilling was in my senior year when I was an exchange student in Minnesota. I was not very talented in playing sports. So every time I fell, I reconsidered every details in my performance and tries to find the mistakes I made. The failure actually motivated me to improve my skills.
