Worked with a Stanford student researching, designing, and developing a Vapor Phase Decomposition (VPD) Device to be used at Stanford Nanofabrication Facility. Research was done to understand the process and materials used during VPD, had anyone attempted to build what we were trying to build, and what materials would be appropriate to use when using acids.A 3D printer was taken apart, retrofitted with parts designed using CAD (and 3D printed), and the 3D printer was programmed to scan silicon wafers; the removed extruder head, replaced by a syringe holder, would drag a droplet of scan solution (water, in this case), in shrinking, concentric circles, as if it were collecting contamination from the surface of the silicon wafer.A viable product was produced at the end.

Researched the potential applications and accessibility of virtual reality at Foothill College, both in the class room and student services, under the supervision of the STEM Division Dean. Findings were later presented at the Foothill Research and Service Leadership Symposium.
