• Cleversafe storage solution involves various servers that are geographically distributed across the world. I worked on network communication between these servers. It is crucial to have high throughput and resilient connectivity. This is achieved by providing innovative solutions like establishing multiple paths between servers and selecting an optimal path.• In order to investigate issues in Cleversafe software, implemented an event correlation framework. This involves chronologically ordering and relating events across servers and presenting it in web interface. Provided querying mechanism for events. • Implemented support for storing big objects, say tera bytes in size, on Cleversafe storage. This support removes contention of resources while uploading big objects. It also allows multiple clients to upload/download big objects simultaneously.

• Roles and responsibility: Design and development of new features for ProOnGo Expense and ProOnGo Business Card Reader.• Technologies used: JAVA APIs like thread, IO, File, Arrays and various RIM APIs, XML, communication over HTTP.• Worked in team of 3 that created ProOnGo Expense application. ProOnGo Expense has 100,000 downloads in 1st six month ofrelease. The application was covered in BusinessWeek, NBC. The application was finalist of Blackberry Code Contest 2009.

Development of monitoring scripts.• Technologies used: C++, socket and thread programming, Shell and perl to develop scripts.• Development of MMS to Mail server, a part of CriticalPath Memova MessagingTM suit which is deployed at various serviceproviders in UK including Vodafone, Orange and Middle East. As a team member, responsibility was to develop server interface.Server interface was critical part of product since other components of product were its clients. It strictly conformed to specs.• Deployed MMS to Mail server at India’s largest Service Provider, iDea Cellular. The service, iDea Easy Mail is used by 50K users.• Installed and configured RedHat SE on two AMDx64 servers. Deployed MMS to Mails server. Developed and installed installationscripts to monitor server status. These monitoring scripts greatly helped in ensuring 99% availability of iDEa Easy Mail service.
