This initiative led to direct savings of 10 weeks/year of increased personnel productivity while decreasing the spend on paper products by 10%.¤ Led a project that resulted in the upgrade of the Emergency Measures Plan for the municipality and became the municipality’s EMO Coordinator. Last plan was 10yrs outdated.¤ Successfully championed the corporate rebranding initiative which led to the design of the new municipal logo, website redesign and launch, development and implementation of corporate communications strategy (Social Media and direct to consumer) and new corporate signage rollout.¤ Project Development - Successfully, oversaw the municipality’s biggest capital project in history which included application for funding, tendering and completion of 7.5 million dollars water treatment and distribution upgrade.¤ Fiscal Management - Successfully brought in budget surpluses year over year and built the capital reserve fund to over $1 million dollars while keeping the debt ration below 5%. ¤ Contract Negotiations - Negotiated land use agreement to take over Memramcook Golf course for the Village of Memramcook from the Province of New Brunswick. Successfully developed and implemented the business plan including the hire of all employees, change of operational structure and marketing strategy which lead to increase membership sales (47%) and profit. ¤ Chosen as one of the top 10 most beautiful villages in Canada by the Culture Trip during tenure.
