About Yvette Hill Smith

As F5’s Chief Information Officer, and Head of Business and Digital Transformation, Yvette Hill Smith currently leads the company’s IT, Cybersecurity Security, Data Governance & Management, and business transformation functions. In this capacity she oversees the corporate strategy for business and digital transformation for F5. Prior to February 2023, Yvette also led the global customer success function in support of the F5 SaaS and Security business.  Prior to joining F5, Yvette was Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Enterprise Support where she led customer success programs for their $60B+ Commercial Cloud business.  She managed Microsoft’s Enterprise Support P&L of $4B in revenue and was previously the General Manager for Cloud Customer Transformation Support, leading a team of over 7,000 professionals.   In her previous roles, she was Senior Vice President of Managed and Professional Services at Xerox and held multiple executive roles at IBM.   In 2021, the National Diversity Council named Yvette to its list of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology, recognizing her as the highest caliber of executive female leaders in the technology industry.    Throughout her career, Yvette has mentored women in technical and operational roles and has worked to create opportunities for their growth and accession in the companies that she has been a part of.   Yvette serves on the Board of Directors of Verint, a $900M publicly traded customer experience SaaS company.Yvette is Chair of the National Board of Directors of INROADS, an organization that develops and supports the advancement of talented, under-represented youth in their careers. She is a Member of the Board of Advisors, School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She was formally a member of the Board of the Georgia Institute of Technology Women’s Alumni Network. Through her work as an Ambassador for the Grady Health Foundation, she has contributed to the advancement of women and children’s health. Yvette holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
