Yvette Ingabire has nearly 15 years consulting experience, working on strategy and analysis in the fields of competitiveness, private sector development and public policy. Most of her projects include an innovation, entrepreneurship or gender angle. Currently, Yvette is the project coordinator of the Rwanda Digital Acceleration Project, a $200M World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank funded project, which aims to increase access to broadband, select digital public services and strengthen the digital innovation ecosystem. She previously provided policy and strategy advice at the Rwandan Ministry of ICT and Innovation and strategic advice to the Rwandan Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (RCWE). Previously, Yvette has led several projects for a number of consulting firms, focused on emerging markets and managing the development of several industry, sector and company strategies. Past and current clients include JICA, TradeMark East Africa, Mastercard Foundation, Imbuto Foundation, the Network of Impact Evaluators in Africa (NIERA), Chevron, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD), the Private Sector Foundation (PSF) and various others. She has also been engaged in different market research projects and has facilitated and delivered training sessions on entrepreneurship, management and leadership. Occasionally, Yvette moderates a symposium or conference panel. Her work experience spans from Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan to Angola. Yvette completed a two-year Master's program in Public Policy at the National University of Singapore and conducted a 6-week entrepreneurship course in Japan.
