I am a Senior Project Manager on the Branded Partnerships team. My role is an integral part of our BP Pre-Sale and Post-Sale teams, including building robust timelines for future opportunities, managing a team of PMs leading active projects to help keep things on track and find solutions for any pivots, and developing new processes and efficiencies for Project Management. I truly love collaborating with our Casting, Creative, Production, Client Services, and Sales teams to create the best social video projects on the planet!

I was a Professional Ensemble Member at ComedySportz Chicago, the home for competitive improvisation. I rotated performing in shows on Fridays and Saturdays (once virtual on Twitch!) and absolutely loved making people laugh in this all-ages show.In 2019, I became the Head Coach of the house team program at CSz Theater Chicago. I revamped the program for the 2020 season and created an advanced Minor League team, which I coached through December 2021 when I stepped away from the Head Coach position. I also changed up the Rec League coaching structure so those teams could have more coaches throughout the season. As you can imagine, we had to change things up and moved our shows virtually with single coaches. However, we didn't skip a beat and created a new virtual Rec League and introduced four new teams!I taught improv classes at the theater for multiple years in both the Beginner and Advanced programs. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and levels of experience. The atmosphere is joyful and supportive, and it is so fun to watch people grow.

I was a Senior Project Manager on the U.S. Army account, primarily leading Creative Development & Production Brand Campaign and U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) communications projects. I was responsible for many facets of project tracking, including the mothership: timelines. I have found that creating robust and transparent timelines that highlight client reviews and approvals, stage gates, key milestones, and risk decision points to be the most effective. Once we approach missing a deadline, that's the flag to start assessing scope, risk, deliverables, and budget. Managing a significant budget, including developing monthly financial burn reports, was another key responsibility in my role. Working across departments to determine resourcing and forecasting impacts these reports (and the timeline is crucial here too).Overall, I have found that my client and agency experience provided a unique and valuable skillset in this role. I understand both sides of the coin and find that a positive attitude and empathy go a long way, especially when frustration bubbles up internally or for the client.

I managed all projects for Choose Chicago that came through the Marketing department. I oversaw 600+ projects and 8,500+ tasks yearly for the company and campaign assets tied to digital and creative agencies. I pride myself in staying on deadline thanks to my creation of templates, timelines, assignments, and reports. I also oversaw the Marketing department budget, supervised the Marketing Coordinator, and worked directly with the Chicago Department of Aviation on their annual marketing needs.A key accomplishment in my role was heading the internal project management side of the choosechicago.com website redesign in 2019. I worked closely with our digital agency for content, design, QA testing, and managing team feedback, implementation, and support hours.We used Workfront for our project management system. As the System Administrator, I built a training program for staff, and I found this aspect of my job very rewarding.

As the Marketing Specialist on the Choose Chicago marketing team, I had a lot of various responsibilities. I did a lot of project management before the PM role was created, including our print guides, newsletters, and marketing deliverables of internal programs like Chicago Restaurant Week and Chicago Theatre Week. I also wrote and edited content on various sections of our website, like our events calendar and blog. Plus, I was a member of the Social Squad and helped plan social events for Choose Chicago, including the annual summer outing and holiday party.

I was responsible for managing the Choose Chicago online Events Calendar, assist with print guides and neighborhood photography, as well as help with website content and other marketing projects. I managed our social media pages, which included creating posts and managing campaign data reports primarily for Facebook and Twitter.

I primarily greeted guests, transferred calls, and helped callers with travel/tourism inquiries. I grew into the role and assisted with various projects for multiple departments, including hotel fact checking (Sales), invoice entries (Client Services), social media posts and reporting (Marketing), mail merges (Executive Office), and raffle prizes data entry (Special Events). I was also responsible for managing incoming/outgoing packages and meeting room reservations as well as miscellaneous office needs.
