A Queens native and Thomas A. Edison Vocational/Technical High School alumna, I began my undergraduate career at New York City’s Technical College in Brooklyn. I relocated to Florida in the early 90s, where I attended Indian River State College and completed the Women in Business Program. Upon my return to the New York in 2006, I enrolled in LaGuardia Community College, where I completed my Associate degree in Business Administration. In 2008, I began my career with the City University of New York (CUNY) at Hunter College as a Benefits Coordinator. In 2016, I accepted a position at York College with the Department of Teacher Education, all while working toward the completion of my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management in 2018. Throughout my career, I have held various positions, including Toll Collector Supervisor for the Florida Department of Transportation; Department Trainer for Doctor Verbals and External Communication Analyst in Compliance and Regulatory Affairs for Liberty Medical Supply; Administrative Assistant for the Department of Teacher Education and most recently adding Administrative Program Coordinator for the ACE Program at York College.
