The builders at Provo Labs focused on building companies that combined content, community and technology in innovative ways to solve problems for their customers.The short term goal of Provo Labs was to start 12-20 internet businesses in the three years and to nurture them so that they could spin out into successful companies.Provo Labs started WorldVitalRecords.com and spun off several other incubator companies. I moved over the WorldVitalRecords.com to work on content acquisition.Long term, the company founders hoped to help infuse Utah with the knowledge sharing and networking culture of Silicon Valley, and to train hundreds of creative inventors and entrepreneurs to benefit a global community by creating sustainable enterprises around great new ideas.My job was to acquire content for these new startups.
