As the Leadership and Career Development Specialist at ESL Federal Credit Union I was responsible for strengthening the leadership and career development capabilities of ESL talent, with a focus on manager effectiveness and employee preparedness for higher level organizational roles. In this capacity I collaborated with leaders throughout the organization to identify and develop career paths and lattices that keep employees motivated and engaged while building deeper talent. I worked to ensure the organization is prepared for the future, developing our leadership bench, by designing and administering our progressive leadership development curriculum. Our Learning and Development team has received Training Magazine's Top 125 Award for the last 15 consecutive years, and has earned the ATD BEST Award three times.

Responsibilities included the design, delivery, and evaluation of sales, leadership, customer service, and operations training throughout the organization, I delivered trained and motived new talent and increased the capabilities of existing employees utilizing a variety of techniques including instructor-led training, synchronous and asynchronous virtual training, and coaching. Accountable for improving employee performance through needs assessment, training design / delivery, and evaluation, I collaborated with all levels of management to identify employee training and development needs.

I managed a team of Special Accounts Representatives to achieve service intervals as established by the NYS Public Service Commission. I interfaced with competitve local exchange carriers (C-LECs) to provide training and negotiate special projects. I created and implemented performance metrics and procedures regarding C-LEC offerings, and cross-trained representatives between residential wholesale and commerical interconnection functionality.

I developed and implemented training programs for telephone bankers across nine specialized telebanking units throughout New York state. I conceptualized, designed, and delivered sales training, developed supervisor training, and measured the effectiveness of all training programs. As well, I served as a mentor to newer members of the training team.
