I'm currently a clinician at Providence's Behavioral Health and Recovery, both in Adult Outpatient and Expanded Community Services. In my role as an ECS clinician, I am gaining perspective into the Adult Family Home system, wherein caregivers are providing 24/7 care for our communities most vulnerable members. I am in awe of the AFH caregivers dedication and ingenuity in providing quality client care. It has been an honor to serve clients and caregivers in the Adult Family Home system. During my internship with RITS program, I facilitated a 12 Week peer-supported inquiry group dedicated to the phenomena of Voice Hearing (as well as other symptoms associated with schizophrenia and psychosis.) I worked with clients who were experiencing or had experienced: Psychosis, Mania, Schizophrenia, Homelessness, SUD, Incarceration, Co-occuring disorders, TBI, PTSD and more in an outpatient outreach setting (in office, Telehealth or out in the community.) I value Harm Reduction, professionalism with flair and compassionate humor. I'm emotionally supportive and intellectually engaging–I enjoy connecting people to resources that increase their sense of connection to community and personal agency. Addressing the impact of systemic oppression on individuals, groups and organizations while increasing the conditions necessary for liberatory practice and consent is central to my work (personally and professionally).
