As a first-generation college graduate from rural South Texas, I live by the belief that "a rising tide lifts all boats.” My mantra throughout my diverse and varied career journey, from the classroom to corporate America, has focused on the unifying theme of helping the most vulnerable and underrepresented groups achieve equity in every aspect of the word.Over the past decade and a half, I have worked in education, ed-tech, the nonprofit sector and the financial services industry leveraging expertise in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership to drive large-scale initiatives, manage multi-year projects, and deliver strategic business value focused on the double bottom line.Currently, as a Senior Business Process Consultant in Intelligent Automation, I lead projects that align process improvements with business strategy and regulatory requirements. My work includes spearheading RPA annual recertification, future-proofing project management, and managing database migrations. I’m skilled in Agile Methodologies, risk mitigation, and leveraging data insights to optimize customer experiences. In my previous role as Director of AI Bootcamps at the Mark Cuban Foundation, I scaled a first-of-its-kind Generative AI bootcamp program, achieving an average NPS of 42 and increasing knowledge by 15% year over year. From increasing the participation of students of color in STEM/AI to recently pivoting to supporting automation and also employment, efforts in banking for military members and veterans at USAA, the synergies in work and community life have fueled my ability to serve others professionally and personally.I am interested in Strategy and Operations in the Data + AI space, where I can continue to leverage my collaboration and problem-solving abilities while working for a great company with a strong mission and supportive culture. If you are a Strategy and Operations or Data + AI professional, I’d love to connect. If you are a veteran or military spouse in the DFW metroplex, I’d love to explore how I might be able to assist in your career journey.
