A chartered civil engineer with more than with 20 years’ experience in
 the water industry in the UK and Southern Africa. With five years’ experience 
living and working in developing countries I understand the exciting 
and challenging environment, and how to navigate it. I bring a breadth
 of experience, comprising project and construction management,
 business development and bid management mostly in the water and sanitation sector but also more broadly in urban infrastructure development and climate resilient infrastructure. As a trusted member of a
 small, scattered department, I have successfully engaged and developed 
teams, enabling them to overcome problems even within tight project
 constraints. I am adept at working with clients, teams, suppliers and 
policy-makers at all levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds.Appreciating the different uses, I have successfully administered
 project work under all frequently used standard forms of contract: 
FIDIC, NEC, IMechE, IChemE and ICE.
I have worked with DfID, PPIAF (WB), AfDB, EIB, KfW, KRIVET and am available for short and long term work using the UK as a base.
