A constrained former copperworks site with contamination and archaeology, within a flood zone. Informed by biophilic design principles, creating a connection to nature from every space.Beacon Hill Residential, Pobl, Swansea 2009 - 2015Project Architect, RIBA Stages 1-5 £25mA development of 160 homes; new-build houses alongside apartments within a remodelled 1912 college building. A new sustainable community centred around shared green spaces, carefully designed to respond to a steeply sloping site.

Includes 100 residential units, 10,000ft2 leisure facilities, parking for 500 cars and a new public plaza.Gower College Student Centre, Ty Coch, Swansea 2012 - 2017Project Architect, RIBA Stages 0-3 & 1-6 £3mA new open-plan student centre and higher education suite. The original concrete structure is retained and connected to an exposed steel frame, creating simple, legible spaces that open up to a green courtyard at the rear and a new entrance plaza to the front.The ALEX Building, UWTSD, Swansea 2009 - 2015Project Architect & Design Team Leader, RIBA Stages 1-6 £15mRefurbishment of Grade II Listed former Swansea Library alongside a contemporary new extension, characterised by a bespoke glazed double-skin facade. Academic accommodation in conjunction with knowledge transfer facilities to promote links with industry.

An office building, supported by two bookends and avierendeel facade, a lightweight multi-functional sports facility and a community park.Chapel Lane, Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon 2006 - 2007Project Architect, RIBA Stages 0-6 £2.8mA campus of accommodation in the heart of the historic town, including offices, costumeworkshops and learning facilities to support the renovation of the main RSC theatre. Anew 1000m2 timber-clad structure carefully connected to an adjacent renovated infirmary.Theatre Redevelopment, Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon 2005 - 2006Architect, RIBA Stages 1-3 £50mRemodelling of the existing theatre building and rationalisation of the RSC’s accommodation across Stratford-upon-Avon, including a masterplan for the town and the wider functions of the RSC. Key projects included:Sophos Headquarters, Abingdon, Oxfordshire 2001 - 2002Package Architect, RIBA Stages 4-5 £26.4mA new building on a brownfield site, consisting of three two storey open-plan, steel framed pavilions, linked together by a series of atria, hovering over secure ground floor accommodation surrounded by a curved, battered brick wall and a lake.Central Library & Jubilee Street, Brighton 2001Assistant Architect, RIBA Stages 3-5 £45mA mixed use development of ten buildings, reconstructing part of the city. A new PFI procured library at the heart of the scheme, characterised by a tall central volume formed from a series of vaulted concrete structures. Nominated for RIBA Stirling Prize 2005.Hampstead Theatre, Eton Avenue, London 2000 - 2001Assistant Architect, RIBA Stages 4-5 £7.5mA simple rectangular structure within the setting of an urban park. The sculptural form of the auditorium sits at the heart of the building, surrounded by foyers & support space with basement accommodation to avoid overcrowding the site. RIBA Award 2003.
