My Complex Fraud Adjuster role is both exciting and challenging. Each day brings new claims to identify and detect fraud. Investigations are a necessity in gaining the evidence required to repudiate these claims successfully. My role includes handling referrals daily where each claim is closely looked into before advices are provided to the Claims Handler or I usually handle if multiple investigative work is required. I work closely with Claims and all the teams that builds together good working relationships as well as a great place to work in.

I have gained extensive and invaluable experience in detecting potentially fraudulent claims since 2006, especially since becoming a full time Fraud Co-Ordinator at QBE Insurance in 2009. I have successfully repudiated various types of claims on this basis resulting in hundreds of thousands of pounds saved. I have in-depth experience in identifying, detecting and investigating potentially fraudulent claims as well as negotiating and settling personal injury, vehicle damage and credit hire claims together with managing and mentoring a small fraud team. In this line of work, I have built up valuable professional relationships with Solicitors , Enquiry Agents and Engineers all who assist in the successful repudiation of these claims. The work is varied and I perform regular auditing on claims files as per company procedure, adhering at all times with the company's KPI and SLAs. I have sound administrative skills and I manage my own workload, post and Diary Management on a daily basis as well as dealing with telephone calls. I have extensive use in Microsoft/Word and regularly update various spread sheets and databases with appropriate information required in assisting Management.

Working as a full time personal injury claims adjuster dealing with liability, indemnity, vehicle damage and credit hire claims together with personal injury. I negotiated various types of claims to achieve the best possible settlement. I also negotiated costs (prior to MOJ and predictive costs regime). From 2006, I was nominated to be a Fraud Representative to identify, investigate and repudiate potentially fraudulent claims.

I undertook all tasks relating to claims and was in regular contact with clients, third parties and Insurers.
