Strategically lead the Mass Fundraising function of the Fundraising Team encompassing: - Individual Giving- Events - Community Fundraising - Youth Development - Digital

Strategically lead and inspire a team of regionally based staff and volunteers to deliver agreed income and engagement targets, and grow our collective impact year-on-year.- Lead the team to drive income and engagement:◼ Deliver annual Regional Engagement income target of c.£10m by building outstanding local relationships with supporters across key community fundraising income and engagement streams.◼ Lead teams to use their local expertise and supporter engagement skills to deliver significant added value to stewardship and marketing activity across other key Fundraising products, including Events, Regular Giving and Legacies.◼ Lead teams to deliver exceptional volunteering experiences to our Community Fundraising Ambassadors, Volunteer Fundraising Groups, and growing number of Dementia Friends Ambassadors.- Strategic prioritisation and optimisation:◼ Maintain strong internal networks to whole organisation to understand wider priorities for regional supporter engagement, including links to service use, with the aim of offering a truly supporter-led experience.◼ Continuously use data and insight (e.g. around supporters’ lifetime value and tracking of team activity / impact) to maximise your team’s impact on the whole-directorate ROI – ensuring the right resources are focused on the most valuable opportunities across our whole portfolio, in line with strategic priorities.- Insight, innovation and continuous improvement:◼ Develop, deliver and maintain effective KPIs to understand the value of team’s contribution to income across other Fundraising & Marketing departments, wider supporter engagement across Alzheimer’s Society, and the effectiveness of how fundraisers prioritise their time.◼ Work closely with the Supporter Insight team to maintain a regular flow of actionable insight into local supporter trends to inform day-to-day decisions and continuous improvement activity across Regional Engagement and the wider directorate.

- Responsible and accountable for the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy and income and expenditure budget for the Central & Wales region, including the delivery of dementia friendly programmes and non financial targets- Responsible and accountable for motivating, inspiring and engaging the Central & Wales team of circa 15 – 20 headcounts - Act as an expert resource on how to galvanise support across Regional Engagement to best serve the needs of the fundraising directorate - Act as an expert resource in how to deliver impactful, meaningful and personalised supporter journeys - Lead and empower to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy and budget, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness is achieved regionally - The ability to be responsive to the demands of the fundraising directorate and a key decision maker on how best to utilise team resource to drive supporter/volunteer recruitment or income generation - Establish and lead on cross team/departmental projects as required - Influencing senior colleagues across fundraising to align plans to maximise impact across income and engagement. - Drive the growth of the income stream pipelines, stewardship and retention in the region

This position includes:- responsibility and accountability of an income budget in excess of £500,000 per annum- line management of team- management of volunteers- key liaison with charity supporters- project management of national fundraising campaigns and initiatives

This position included:- project management of prospectus production from conception to distribution- management and accountability for the advertising budget and creative- supervision of junior staff members- event management of open days- I was part of a successful re-brand on the awarding of university title. The activities won a Gold Heist Award for the best Regional Recruitment Campaign in 2008.
