Responsible for the execution and evaluation of the system-wide clinical Epic education. Oversee the design, development and delivery of training programs to all levels of end users to enable them to effectively use the information technology tools and applications required to perform their jobs.

I am responsible for managing two departments that support all of the Primary & Specialty Care practices for the Central Indiana Market of the Franciscan Physician Network. One of these departments handles all of the pre-registration for new patients, handling the scheduling and authorization for referrals to specialists, and scheduling of new patients to the practices. The other department consists of individuals that perform phlebotomy services as well as obtain pre-certifications for imaging tests which they then schedule. Currently, I have 38 direct reports at 17 different locations. Prior to this position was the corporate trainer for the Franciscan Express Care clinics in central Indiana. I trained on the EMR and Registration systems as well as all insurance products.

 Provides insight and feedback to the director of nursing and clinic operations regarding the overall performance and operations of the clinic; ensures processes and procedures are implemented and followed to guarantee a high level of productivity; continually monitors clinic functions and consults with to the director of nursing and clinic operations to make operational revisions as needed. Coordinates information regarding clinic functions including but not limited to scheduling, patient services support, incident reporting, audits, performance issues and clinical services; serves as a liaison to home office departments that provide and/or support these services. Maintains all clinic staffing of both providers and nurses, resources replacement coverage, approves paid time off and over time, reviews and approves clinic staff time sheets, communicates staffing needs to human resources and elevates concerns to account management and to the director of nursing and clinic operations. Coordinates and oversees the physical build out of the schedule in NoviaPWR with the clinic operations support specialist; monitors workload and systems, coordinating resources to optimize operational efficiencies and patient satisfaction by producing and analyzing monthly utilization, patient satisfaction, MPWR, etc. reports.  Establishes and maintains effective communications and working relationships with clinic staff; addresses clinic staff and patient concerns as they relate to clinic operations; utilizes problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop resolutions of concerns; implements resolutions as appropriate. Provides all communication to the clinic regarding changes in policies and procedures, corporate news and updates, and clinic specific programs. Completes various special projects, which may require reviewing and analyzing information, identifying problems, recommending solutions, and writing reports.  Performs EMR audits and defines issues.

Responsible for oversight of new home construction, time management, work and sporting events schedules, and homework helper. Served as school PTO treasurer and classroom assistant.

Responsible for recognizing areas that need performance improvement, designing plan of action for improvement, and successfully implementing plan and monitoring progress toward goals.

Responsible for daily clinic operations, directing activities of 25 staff members and overall fiscal management. Clinic services include: OB/GYN, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, Nutritional and Social Work services, Laboratory services, Pharmaceutical services and Mental Health services.

This executive director level position involved opening and managing four assisted living centers throughout Indiana, while managing operations of an Indianapolis facility.

Directed operations of multiple long-term care facilities. Created annual budget and consistently increased profitability.
