Led Perimeter’s commercial property owners to implement transportation and infrastructure improvements to ensure economic prosperity and quality of life in the Perimeter area .• Successfully implemented redesigned intersections, new streetscapes and miles of sidewalks providing walkable connections to transit, jobs and amenities; bike lanes as multi-modal options; upgraded traffic signal equipment with communications devices to enhance traffic flow; and promotion of a mixed-use environment with significant new housing. • Lobbied State and Federal governments to acceleration of the $800 million I-285/400 Interchange Improvements and GA 400 CD Lane System projects, more than 25 years in the making. Proclaimed by Governor Deal the largest surface transportation infrastructure project in Georgia’s history, these projects are on the fast track to begin 2017 and complete by 2020. -

Ceo - Perimeter Community Improvement DistrictPerimeter Community Improvement District - Public / Private Partnerships 1999 - 2016Sandy Springs, Georgia, UsSelected president of the newly formed DeKalb Perimeter CID in 1999, and then was appointed president of the joint DeKalb/Fulton PCIDs, which organized in 2001. Leadership of multi-jurisdictional PCIDs. • Accelerated construction of a $38 million Perimeter Center Parkway Flyover Bridge over I-285, which opened in 2007 to provide alternative access to commuters, residents and shoppers and attract multi-use developments. • Advocated for and achieved finance construction of the $18 million Hammond Half-Diamond Interchange on GA 400, pushing it five years ahead of schedule. Opened • September 2011, the interchange is improving traffic congestion and safety along GA 400 and providing a new gateway into Perimeter. • Initiated and secured design/engineering funding for Georgia’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange – an innovative, $6.4 million cost effective improvement in traffic flow, safety and air quality at I-285/Ashford Dunwoody Road Interchange, one of Metro Atlanta’s busiest. This partnership project with The Georgia Department of Transportation and State Toll Authority opened 2012• Met all financial audit goals and requirements, currently PCID has $26 million in capital reserves. • Secured 3 years of PTOP grants by Georgia Department of Transportation.• Secured $4 million Atlanta Regional Commission grant for Lake Hearn / Peachtree Dunwoody Street scapes and bike/pedestrian improvements.
