My name is Yvonne So. I grew up outside New York City, graduated from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, and spent over a decade working on both the sell and buy side of Wall Street trading floors, and bank investment portfolios.Currently, I'm a full-time stay-at home-mom of 3 boys. I'm involved in my local community, a vocal Asian American Pacific Islander activist, and I'm working at the legislative and local school district level to adopt AAPI curriculum into our K-12 classrooms. I am also embarking on my 3rd career...in podcasting! I am launching a podcast on the Seneca Women Podcast Network and iHeart radio later in the year. In my series, “Cashing our Trillions,” I spotlight moms, the work we do to sustain this trillions dollars economy of unpaid female work, and the spaces we manage to carve for ourselves that give us life outside of "mom.” By increasing public discourse about moms, my hope is to transform our social infrastructure, our laws and our value of women and moms and ultimately help in our progress to promote gender equity and inclusive economic growth.
