Navigating course selections, selecting post-secondary options and applying for scholarships are challenging for students. In my role, I guide students through this important process while directing them to helpful resources. In addition, I planned and co-led a two week cross-cultural experience to Asia for grade eleven students. In the Learning Commons.

Within my role as an elementary teacher, I create an atmosphere for experiential learning and critical inquiry; and provide an environment rich in collaboration, both among the students and between the learner and the broader community. I currently serve on the Christian Teachers Association of BC Board, the Society of Christian Schools of BC, the Identify.

For five years, I chaired a committee that organized an annual convention for 1200 teachers and teaching support staff. In my role, I worked with the team to coordinate all the workshop presenters, keynote speakers, schedules and facilities each year.
