Youth Employment Pathways Project Coordinator
The Youth Employment Pathways Project is a scale up of NDYEP project and its demand-driven skills development model into other States of Nigeria’s Niger Delta with grant funding of USD$5,500,000. Role spans across; Build/strengthen the ecosystem of public, private and social sector actors, identify and build linkages with organizations to conduct technical and vocational skills training while exploring opportunities for internships, jobs or business in the supply chain of organizations or value chain of any of the focus sectors. Program management and administration – developing workplans and budgets, identifying, onboarding and managing sub-grantees, monitoring and evaluation of project activities, data collection, progress reporting. Engage private sector companies, Chambers of Commerce and other private sector stakeholders via targeted meetings and dissemination events to share and dialogue about action research findings, implementation of outcomes and lesson. Engage government stakeholders to create awareness on the NDYEP model and approaches, and to obtain States commitment to adopt/adapt more demand led youth employment programming. Contribute to research design, supervision and review of research outputs coordination including coordinating planned identification and mapping of private sector companies as potential employers of program participants
