Yvonne Maria Schaefer is an Actress (SAG/AFTRA), an award-winning producer, executive advisor and world traveler, based in New York and Frankfurt, Germany. In 2008 she founded the film production company YMC Films in NY and in 2012 a second company in Germany, the YMC Entertainment GmbH. She works successfully, for many years in the entertainment industry. Her film productions include, "Forget Me Not" (2009) directed by Federico Castelluccio, starring Peter Greene, "The Child", an adaption of a bestselling novel by Sebastian Fitzek, with a star cast, released in theatres in 2012, "Checkmate, Keep Your Enemies Closer" (2013), this film premiered at the AFME, supported by Robert Redford. “Home Stay” (2018), starring Robert LaSardo and “Berlin I Love You” (2018), with Keira Knightly, Hellen Mirren and Hayden Panettiere. Aside from feature film productions, Yvonne focuses with YMC's documentary co-productions on international important topics and issues. The latest documentary films include "Stick´em Up Reloaded" (2015), "The Cuban Herd" (2016) and “Glory Peru” (2018). As an actress she can be seen in films such as "Keep Your Enemies Closer", "The Child", "The Brooklyn Banker", "Home Stay", “Berlin I Love You” and soon as the host of an upcoming science series.In addition to her entertainment business, Yvonne is a business consultant and executive advisor for various companies. She develops effective strategic plans to raise capital, develops solid go-to-market strategies and does CEO coaching. Yvonne has a great interest in science and the natural world since early childhood on. She connected during her travels to scientists all over the world. Now she is using her broad international network to give scientists and companies a voice. Since August 2017 Yvonne is Chairman of the Executive Advisory Board at Mercaptor Discoveries Pharmaceuticals that developes brain-protective therapeutic molecules, having the potential to treat acute and chronic brain conditions.
