GluCorp is a startup with a vision to transform healthcare through technology. Our risk and assessment app aims to make healthcare more accessible for pregnant mothers, reducing the need for frequent hospital visits during this critical time and enabling them to keep track of their health.

As a Data Science Intern at The Sparks Foundation, I had the opportunity to work on a machine learning model that detects the marks students get using their sleeping hours. During my internship, I gained valuable experience in using Linear Regression to find correlations between variables, training and saving models using the joblib module, and splitting datasets into training and testing sets.In addition to my technical work, I also had the opportunity to review other interns' code and provide constructive feedback. This experience helped me develop my ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and to provide feedback in a clear and helpful manner.Working with The Sparks Foundation was an excellent opportunity for me to apply my data science skills to real-world problems and contribute to an organization that is making a positive impact in the field of education. I look forward to continuing to leverage my skills and experience to help organizations solve complex problems through data analysis and machine learning.

As an accounting bookkeeper at Keky Tamu, I gained valuable experience in managing financial data and creating reports using Microsoft Excel. One of my key responsibilities was to fill out data on the company's monthly expenses and use Excel to create pivot charts to showcase key findings. This allowed me to develop my skills in data analysis and visualization, which helped the company make more informed decisions about their finances.In addition to my technical skills, I also had the opportunity to work closely with other employees at Keky Tamu, which helped me strengthen my teamwork and communication skills. Through regular interactions with colleagues, I learned how to effectively collaborate on projects and communicate complex financial information to non-experts.Overall, my time as an accounting bookkeeper at Keky Tamu helped me develop a well-rounded skillset that I believe would be highly valuable in any accounting or finance role.
