I opened/ closed the entire satellite campus, secure center during in-session intensive courses as well as regular business hours. Under the supervision of the facilities manager as well as the Professor Emeritus of the time I maintained the reception area and facilities through out and served as the first point of contact for the now called USC Price, Sol Price School of Public Policy.I truly enjoyed working with numerous highly decorated USC Professors, Doctors , Journalists, Executives and Research Analysis. What's more is that in my work with USC I found a tremendous pride and zeal for welcoming and serving university students, alumni and perspective students alike.On a day to day basis I completed several comprehensive office mechanics such as, mail, email, various data entry, i.e., event RSVPs, course evaluations, tallying, feedback forms, comment forms, notes, name tags, etc. And finally, I answer English multi-line telephones; recorded/ relayed messages as well as transferring of inner/external campus wide department telephone calls, test proctoring & evaluations.

Under the supervision of the office manager and on site physician I utilized Intelligent Medical Software (IMS) in the administration of daily front office practices. I was the first point of patient-doctor contact and handled the check in/out procedures i.e.; Validation health insurance via internet or telephone, authentication of patient demographics, as well as the collection of co-payments/ balances.Simultaneously, I answered very heavy English and Spanish telephone lines effectively taking and distributing vital medical information for the pediatric center, I handled scheduling in all of these areas: new patients, follow-ups, and re-scheduling missed appointments. Additionally, I procured and directed all electronic faxes and prior authorizations for the entire doctors office such as, prescription request and several other miscellaneous facsimile patient/doctor/laboratory care documents.Back Office practices included: room preparation, vaccine preparation, data collection i.e., vitals: height/weight, temporal temperature, blood pressure, BMI, vision chart, audiometer, urinalysis and oxygen levels where applicable. Lastly, I administered, checked and recorded tuberculosis screenings as well as all other CDC approved vaccines/immunizations and additional civil vaccination requirements regarding Immigration vaccination and documentation facilitation.
