Pro-Pac Packaging is a subsidiary of the ASX-listed Pro-Pac Group. As part of a team managing the account of major client Aldi, I was responsible for developing products in kitchenware, table top and hydration for Aldi Australia, UK and USA. Working across these different markets gave me a unique insight into varying retail environments and consumer motivation, behaviours and trends in each market. I travelled to the USA to conduct in-store research and market analysis, attending industry events and trade shows. I oversaw the entire new product development lifecycle, prepared pre-tenders and tenders, conducted product and market research and collaborated with our production teams and overseas manufacturers. Effective relationship management was critical to my role, as was sharp commercial acumen and ability to negotiate strong outcomes. Brady Australia is an Australian subsidiary of NYSE-listed multinational Brady Corporation. I owned end-to-end responsibility for two very different portfolios — Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) products and Carroll Electrical Accessories. In managing these portfolios, I was responsible for setting new product development strategy, maintaining existing product ranges and driving growth and profitability. I conducted detailed market research and analysis, collaborated with our marketing team in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns driven by market data, and evaluated global product offerings for the Australian market. I instituted several effective changes to pricing models, aligned product development more precisely with customer need and delivered sustained growth across both portfolios. After joining the company as Product Manager, I was promoted to this National Account Manager and Product Development role. I led new product development, to-market processes and offshore manufacturing. I oversaw the design, manufacture, importation and wholesale of a variety of homeware products as a key account manager, in line with detailed market and consumer research. Working closely with design teams and consultants, I developed technical specifications for overseas manufacturers, sourced components and managed pre- and post-delivery sample testing. I established private labels for several retailers, including Aldi, Woolworths (including Woolworths Shanghai), Big W, Coles, Target and Best&Less, building and sustaining strong working relationships.Areas of focus: product development, new product development, product management, commercial analysis, national account management, retail, market analysis

I was offered a role with Supertex and was given responsibility for managing a portfolio of homewares products. I successfully coordinated product development activities, including the implementation of promotional campaigns and strategies associated with major domestic trade shows.I successfully collated sales data and provided reports to account management and business development teams including the company’s Account Manager. During my time in the role, I established a master database to store sales data for all clients; producing cost savings and operational efficiencies across business development activities. I also created templates for product costing, enabling a number of costing processes to be automated.
