My background differs from that of most computer science students, and I use it to my advantage. My insights of power grid gained from bachelor study give me unique understanding of how vital IOT and 5G is, considering the daily routine work for power grids are still dangerous and inefficient. Additionally, my experience involved building a small PV system enable me to realize 5G is the key to the revolution of smart grid and the popularity of massive home scale PV panels. I believe the background knowledge of electrical engineering make me a rare breed of computer scientist that can combine advanced computer science technologies with reality, and that can open up a whole new market and discover business opportunities in it.
