I'm a fifth year double major, majoring in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics with an emphasis on computational and data science looking to get experience working in the field of aerospace. With the valuable experience attained through these institutions and organizations, I was able to secure an internship as a systems engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Systems where I worked on creating a software tool to conduct time analysis on flight software commands during the summer of 2023.During the summer of 2024, I returned to Northrop Grumman Space Park where I continued my work as a systems engineering intern, this time working on environment requirements where I helped ensure the space vehicle's ability to meet the harsh environmental conditions in orbit.Thanks to UC Merced's AIAA student branch, I've also had the wonderful opportunity to work on exciting projects that have helped develop my understanding of the aircraft system design, manufacturing, and operation process. I strive to use this experience and passion in the future as a member of the aerospace community.
