As the Director Finance and CFO at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), I have over seven years of experience in leading the financial planning, management, and reporting of one of the top universities in Pakistan. I am a Chartered Accountant, and an Executive MBA student at LUMS with a gold medal in academic excellence.My core competencies include change management, product/service development and launch, people management, and of course finance. I have successfully implemented several initiatives to improve the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the financial operations at LUMS, such as introducing a new ERP system, streamlining the budgeting and forecasting processes, and enhancing the grants management and compliance functions. I have also played a key role in developing and launching new academic programs, scholarships, and partnerships at LUMS, as well as managing the capital expenditures and cash flows of the university. In addition, I am passionate about professional development and communication skills. I am a PwC alumni, a CA brand ambassador, and a distinguished Toastmaster. I have completed multiple certifications and courses in areas such as design thinking, innovation, and the social sector.
