- Research Assistant at Dr. Blaisdell’s Neuroscience Lab studying Pavlovian and instrumental conditioning methods and procedures through operant boxes to further investigate differences in animal and human cognition.- Current Project - P039: Columba Livia and Aversion to Eye Stimuli Spectrum - studying the impact of binocular and peripheral vision and eye orientation on Columbidae (pigeons) and how response rates vary when shown a spectrum of stimuli with increasingly lower-trophic level-like eyes.- Created and authored a project specification sheet in collaboration with PhD candidates and Dr. Blaisdell prior to the onset of trials for P039, consisting of all components of a manuscript including General Methods, Apparatus, and Stimuli sections, engineered 30+ appropriate control and probe stimuli for the project.- Responsible for managing cohorts of subjects and running Python and R programs for respective trials, selecting the correct reinforcement schedule (i.e. RR5, RR20) and ensuring adequate data collection and retrieval.- Optimized subject performance by maintaining 80-85% of full free-feeding body weight, maximizing response rates in operant conditioning experiments and enhancing engagement with conditioned stimuli.-Assisted with human research, briefing and debriefing participants for the H007 experiment, investigating the conjunction fallacy and providing SONA credit to participants

Shadowed multiple clinicians in a variety of clinical roles and specialties at Kaiser Permanente at both the San Leandro and Fremont locations, including but not limited to:-Dr. Joel Ou(Anesthesiologist), who administered anesthesia for a variety of different procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies. -Dr. Sheena Sawant (Anesthesiologist), who completed nerve blocks for patients post-surgery for temporary pain relief using an Ultrasound to visualize nerve/artery/vein locations-Dr. Joseph Teng (Hospitalist), who completed patient rounding and worked with MS3 medical students from Drexel School of Medicine. During my time with Dr. Teng, I was able to gain valuable insight into the life of a medical student, specifics regarding clinical rotations, and the medical school admissions process. -Dr. Kevin J Li (Psychiatrist), who is the Head and Director of ECT (Electro-convulsive therapy), which utilizes an electrical current through bilateral or unilateral leads to send an electrical signal to the brain to treat psychiatric disorders such as Clinical Depression/Anxiety. Patients generally are on a 12-week course of ECT, but this varies with symptoms. The electrical signal provided to the patient induces a brief seizure, so patients are always sedated and put under heavy anesthesia to ensure they don't feel any discomfort.

Co-founded and established MedArc, a research organization dedicated to fostering academic growth and research excellence among students in the city of San Ramon.Designed and conducted virtual workshops focused on equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge required to write high-quality research papers, emphasizing principles of scientific inquiry and academic integrity.Edited and refined research papers authored by workshop participants.Showcased over 40 complete articles on the MedArc webpage regarding a variety of topics including cancer treatment, stem cell research, biotechnology, and agricultural science.
