About Zayaan Khan

Hi! My name is Zayaan Khan and I am a second-year pre-medical student at UCLA. I am currently looking for potential clinical and shadowing opportunities in and around the greater Los Angeles area and the San Francisco Bay Area. My drive for the field of medicine stems from the intersection between patient care and the Psychosomatic relationship between physical and mental health related symptoms. Many patients today struggle not only with their physical health, but with conditions such as depression and anxiety in relation to their physical health problems. I am passionate to break the stigma that mental health brings, and provide excellent patient care in the process. As a current undergraduate, I absolutely still have many leaps to take in regards to my medical training and to reach my ultimate goal of becoming a great physician, but I am eager to take on the journey and enjoy every moment of it!
