About Ali Taqi
As the Founder, Director, and Head Hindi Instructor at Zabaan School for Languages in New Delhi, India, I am passionate about teaching Hindi, Urdu, and other languages to students from diverse backgrounds. Although I was born, raised, and educated in Chicago, Illinois, my parents' Indian heritage exposed me to multiple languages at an early age. However, it was not until I pursued International Studies at Loyola University Chicago that I formally started learning Hindi. After teaching Hindi privately in Chicago for three years, I moved to Seattle to study Hindi and Urdu further while pursuing a Social Work program at the University of Washington. In 2009, I relocated to India to establish Zabaan, a leading language school that offers high-quality lessons in Hindi and ten other languages.At Zabaan, we provide group and individual classes, intensive courses, and online lessons to cater to students' needs and preferences. During the pandemic, we successfully pivoted to online teaching while keeping our in-person classes available. Our team of experienced instructors shares my passion for language teaching, and we have helped thousands of students achieve their language learning goals.My expertise in Hindi and Urdu grammar, scripts, and linguistics, as well as my interest in bilingualism and foreign language teaching techniques, have enabled me to teach these languages to students of all proficiency levels.
