With over 10 years of work experience in diplomacy, security, and public administration, I am currently the Director of Free Living Australia, a prominent NDIS provider in South East Melbourne dedicated to enhancing the lives of vulnerable individuals through dedicated and compassionate care. In this role, I lead strategic planning, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement, leveraging my expertise to foster a collaborative and supportive environment focused on making a meaningful impact in the community. Prior to working at FLA, I served as the Consul General of Afghanistan to Istanbul, Turkiye, where I represented and protected the interests of my country, its businesses and citizens. Prior to that I worked as the Personal Aide and Principal Secretary to the President of Afghanistan. In that role I assisted the top man of the country with his day-to-days, coordinated and facilitated the implementation of key policy initiatives and reforms. I have a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations from the University of Canberra, with a focus on national security and public administration reform. I am passionate about advancing human dignity, justice, and cooperation, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
