As the Tax Collector for Forrest County, I am committed to serving our community with honesty, integrity, and efficiency. With a passion for public service, I strive to ensure that taxpayers receive the highest level of customer service and support. I am dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards and working diligently to manage and collect taxes in a fair and transparent manner. I am proud to serve the residents of Forrest County and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in our community.I have over 10 years of experience in customer relations, management and accounting. As the Tax Collector, I lead a cross-functional team of 16 employees that work directly with county taxpayers on all their ad valorem tax needs including Real, Personal, Mobile Home and Motor Vehicle taxes. I am deeply passionate about creating a positive experience for both the customer and employee. In my position, I work closely with other county officials as well as the Department of Revenue and State Auditor's Office. I pride myself on excellent customer service, and adhering to all local, state and federal laws while showing empathy towards our taxpayers. Previously, I had the honor to serve as a Recruiter for Mississippi's fastest growing community college, Pearl River. In this role, I was able to positively impact and change lives of students from all socio-economic statuses. In 2019, I started HD Solutions, a political consulting and public relations firm. I am an experienced consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the public relations and communications industry. Skilled in Customer Service, Sales, Public Speaking, Social Media, Marketing and Management. My higher education experience includes an Associate of Arts from Pearl River Community College and a Bachelor of Arts - BA focused in Political Science and Leadership from Mississippi State University. Outside of work, I am an active member in the community and various organizations. I currently serve as President for the MSU Chapter of Delta Chi Alumni Association as well as President of the Forrest County AHS Alumni Association.
