Zac served as a member of the Augustana College Board of Trustees and during that time I learned a great deal from him about generosity, philanthropy and the purpose of money. Zac never missed an opportunity to volunteer his time to teach and inspire others. On several occasions he met with members of the College Advancement team to teach about methods of giving and engaging donors in conversations about passion and purpose. Zac's intentional, thoughtful and client-centered approach is something I admire deeply and try to apply in my own life and work. Just this week I listened to a podcast for which Zac was interviewed and I was struck by his observation that those who are most important to us want generosity FOR us, not from us. Zac provided a great reminder of the joys that come from the purposeful use of money."
