Travel Audience is a data-driven advertising platform that provides real-time bidding on ad platforms and leverages traveller data to better match advertisers with travelers. My work includes writing and maintaining Go services running on Kubernetes, development and tuning for the real-time bidding system and its algorithm optimization system, and implementation of algorithms designed by the Machine Learning team using Go.Other projects have included a secure storage service for personally identifiable data and a full-stack realtime service control/debug panel using React and Go, and an in-house ad templating system and Go library that parses formatting directives from generic ad HTML to generate viewable ads.I also mentor team members, helped introduce pair programming, and serve as an internal subject matter expert in performance optimization of Go code across several projects.

11Sight is a startup building a one-click video calling app to be used in customer support or sales settings. As a full-stack engineer I worked on a video calling Rails web app responsible for implementing front-end features in React including screen sharing and desktop call receive features, as well as backend features in Ruby for account/call history management and QR code call sharing.I drove introduction of application monitoring and alerting best practices, using Prometheus to monitor key components. Other development projects included building a CLI QR code tool in Go to generate branded QR codes used to embed call IDs and an additional tool to extract audio from videos recorded in a browser. I also debugged a SIP protocol for video calls and updated OpenSIP configurations.

Fikrimuhal is a startup peer-to-peer video streaming provider. In this role my focus was on Scala backend services and implementing CI/CD workflows on AWS with CodePipeline and SSL certificate distribution via Lambda functions.

I was trained in C#, Objective C, and various web technologies before being assigned to a team focused on Epic's iOS app, responsible for full-stack development and maintenance on mobile EMR access solutions using C#, Objective C, and JavaScript. I also contributed to an NLP tool prototype to be used in clinical ambulatory settings utilizing C# and Objective C.
