Developed and maintained a time keeping application for tracking time associated with projects to allow better reporting to the customer on the details of contractual utilization.Maintained and developed upon MediaWiki to provide a knowledge base application to the support team. This work has also spread to assisting other various teams with distributed knowledge sharing.Consulted on the move to the git source code management system(from subversion) for all development teams inside HP at the Bentonville site. Git is now the exclusive code management system at this office and has lead to large operational improvements in managing code changes with multiple developers.Developed SNMP trap related perl scripts to allow reporting on thousands of devices in the field for phone home support. This covers automating the reporting of issues on switches, routers, blade chassis, servers and storage infrastructure.Developed new web applications using the Django python based web framework. This set of tools has the potential to streamline support operations and ease the training of new staff as we grow. These tools will also provide better entry points into the knowledge base to allow easier discovery of the information already documented.
