Retail Margin team which is a multi-functional department working with Broker Dealers, JPMS client reps and other departments within the firm including Middle Office. •Ensuring that all the regulatory and house requirements are met and adhered to. In any instance of a breach of a rule/regulation, Margin department puts on a restriction/warning on the clients accounts.•Ensuring that accounts maintain enough collateral to compensate for the margin loan provided by Clearing Corp to the client.•Primary responsibilities are Issuing Reg-T Fedcalls, Housecalls, NYSE calls, Daytrade Calls, filing extensions on unpaid buys.•Credit Analysis based on clients Equity, market value and positions that are marginable.•To notify registered representative or to other regulatory bodies when customer margin is less than government regulations or brokerage firm requirements.•Verify and approve the asset movements from an account. This includes checking for the right documentation, authorized signatories, short positions, any possible layering/AML issues, etc.•It is the responsibility of Margin to ensure the client's accounts have the proper funding and/or documents on file to facilitate the client requests issuing journals and deliveries.•Performing all critical functions like: PF20 (Letters and Notifications), journals deliveries,transfers and Margin/cash exceptions.
