As the CTO, I drive the overall technical direction and strategy of Knoza. This includes managing the development of Knoza Central, Knoza’s software platform that helps manage client accounts and track key marketplace metrics. I work closely with the product team, development team, and other stakeholders to ensure that the application meets the needs of the business and our customers. Specific technical responsibilities include:∙ System architecture: I am responsible for designing and maintaining the overall structure and organization of the Knoza Central system. This includes identifying and implementing technologies, tools, and frameworks that are used to build and maintain the application.∙ Development of new features: I lead the team that is responsible for adding new features and functionality to Knoza Central. This includes working with the product team to understand customer needs and requirements, and then designing and implementing solutions to meet those needs.∙ Build and deployment process: I oversee the process of building and deploying the Knoza Central application to our production environment. This includes managing the development pipeline, testing, and release management.

As the software team lead, I use my years of experience with the CollaborateMD system to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of our business and products by (but not limited to):∙ Designing and implementing complex software projects that require a global view of the day-to-day workflows used by both our clients and our internal business partners.∙ Understanding how existing and future software features impact our clients, both positively and negatively, and using that knowledge to properly prioritize upcoming software updates.∙ Creating an exciting, innovative environment in which our software team members feel empowered to code creatively, voice their concerns, and be themselves.

I maintain and enhance the CollaborateMD Practice Management software as well as aid in the architecture and implementation of new features.Major projects to date include:∙ Architecting and implementing the CollaborateMD Central Business Intelligence system, which allows users to build custom reports and query any combination of over 1,000 data fields without any knowledge of the underlying database structure. 6 months after release, users had already created thousands of custom reports catered to the needs and workflows of their office.∙ Implementing the CollaborateMD Dashboards following the initial development of the Central Business Intelligence system, which provide various key performance indicators at a glance. ∙ Designing the Customer Bill Pay system, which integrates with a 3rd party payment transaction service, allowing our customers to pay invoices directly through the CollaborateMD application and allows for more effective tracking and processing of customer invoices by the CMD team.∙ Pioneering the ongoing process of database object documentation, allowing for a better understanding of data relationships for both current and future CMD developers.∙ Implementing various smaller projects throughout the CollaborateMD client and server, geared towards improving user experience and decreasing wasteful processes and workflows.
