About Zac Clayton

I am a Managing Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Property team at Freeths LLP. Our team is ranked Band 1 (Real Estate) by Chambers and Partners, and Tier 1 (Commercial Property) by Legal 500. I provide legal advice to a number of major corporate and investment clients throughout the UK, as well as local businesses. I have experience in a broad range of commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant issues, pre-let agreements, property management, redevelopment, rights of light release projects to enable large developments, riparian rights issues, acquisitions and disposals. I take an active role in the training and development of junior lawyers, play in the the Freeths football team, participate in the Freeths Staff Council and the Freeths Initiate Networking Group.I trained at DLA Piper in Liverpool, qualifying in 2010. In 2013 I moved to BCLP (formerly Berwin Leighton Paisner) in London. In 2018 I relocated back to Nottingham (my home city) and joined Freeths.
