Managed museum programs and events. Researched program and event ideas, outlined budgets, created marketing plans and materials, responded to public and media inquiries, conducted logistics, supervised staff and volunteers, compiled attendance data and visitor evaluations.• Produced theater presentations, including an annual holiday production for 240 visitors.• Created and delivered family programming, including an annual event exploring the human and astronomical history of nighttime before electricity for 60 visitors.• Directed four annual camps largely focused on archaeology and its relationship to science that are attended by 80 children.• Managed assigned portions of other annual events, including a July 4th celebration that draws 2,000 visitors and a Washington’s Birthday celebration that draws 1,000 visitors.Directed museum’s digital education initiatives.• Effectively collaborated with a team of 10 archaeologists, curators, and educators to produce engaging digital content. Edits team’s written blog contributions.• Launched and managed Lives & Legacies blog read by 7,000 individuals a month. Independently learned WordPress to build and manage the blog.• Launched and co-produced Lives & Legacies YouTube series, which has over 155,000 views.
